At this point in this term, I haven’t really felt that many slumps in energy. The moment I feel as if I’m done for the day, I re-evaluate whether I can afford to make that decision. At that point, my motivating factors kick in, and I’m back in school mode. Actually, I wouldn’t really call it a slump in energy as it is more a sense of being overwhelmed. Take last week for example. I had three assignments due for SNHU-107 and three assignments due for ENG122. The ENG122 assignment was a little writing intensive. I went to the ENG COMP Learning Community on SNHU Connect and found that I wasn’t the only one who was struggling with some of the issues that Week 5 posed. I received so many answers by simply reading other student posts. Along with that, I watched the most recent SNHU-107 webinar with Melanie Schopp and I realized I was overthinking the whole Week 5 assignment. As I watched the webinar, I saw students tuning in with the very questions I had. Oh, side note, if you haven’t watched a webinar hosted my Melanie, you’re missing out! Her positive energy alone will keep you motivated! I love that every time I watch her webinars or read a post from her on the SNHU Learning Community she makes a strong emphasis on three powerful words; YOU GOT THIS! For some strange reason, she makes me believe it.
I want to encourage everyone that might find himself or herself in a slump, to seek one’s amenities throughout your online education experience. I’m finding more resources every day that not only keeps me in the loop but keeps me motivated as
