Pg. 40. I remember being quite confused around the age of thirteen. I was the outgoing girl, friends with everyone. My closest friends were in the "popular" group but I enjoyed talking with everyone. My friends gave me a hard time about talking to the "unpopular" peers in our class. I truly didn't care what anyone thought. This taught me a lot. I made some bad and good choices at the time hanging around some of my unique peers. I look at this a great learning experience that I have been able to expand to my children. I felt I was trying to find "me", who I wanted to be and who I was. And I believe that I did. I am still an outgoing person who enjoys all walks of life. Berger (2014) stated “Moral development, influenced by peers, advances during these years. My mom always taught me if I don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all. With that said I do not agree with Sigmund Freud’s psychosexual theory. The only stage I can maybe relate to is the oral stage. Due to the fact that I believe sucking and feeding is a stimulating activity. It correlates with Erikson’s trust vs mistrust. The infant associates sucking, whether sucking from a breast or a nipple of a bottle as fulfilling the nourishment, warmth, and physical contact with their mother during a stimulating
