From the perspective of the consequential ethical theory, the issue that is related to abortion is the end result. If the end result is more valuable to the majority of the party involved in this act of moral dilemma, abortion will be permitted and advocated to be performed. For the consequential ethicist, unlike the virtue ethicist and duty ethicist, what matters is the benefit or the advantage that will be brought by the action must exceed the pain, the harm or the disadvantage.
