Postsecondary teachers instruct students in a wide range of academic and career-oriented subjects beyond the high school level. Such teachers include college and university professors, career and technical education instructors, and graduate teaching assistant. They need to go to meetings and they need to have good communications with the parents of the students and with the rest of the staff to let them know when they plan to be gone on a trip or on day off. The best aspects of this job is the way the students watch you and you watch them grow as they grow in knowledge. The drawback is that the job doesn’t pay a lot and you have to go to meetings and have to do parent/teacher conferences.
