Turning Point The Age of Enlightenment doesn’t necessarily have a turning point because the enlightenment itself was a major turning point in history. Even though this may be the case, one may see the turning point when John Locke wrote a piece on the different forms of government which spoke to the English people’s hearts.
Turning Point Explanation The entire enlightenment changed the course of the world drastically by changing the way all of humanity viewed the world, even the aspects of science and leadership. During this time, the understanding and education of the people improved and it still has effect on modern day America and Europe. Locke wrote a book called Two Treatises of Government which educated the people on forms of government and parliament. This caused a major change in England’s form of leadership and continued to effect England, even to this very
