Americans I believe thought that the “American Dream” was the idea of having equal opportunity and the ability to live how you please. When my parents first came to the US, they had the same ideology of the America, but once it was revealed that the “Tooth Fairy” didn’t exist, they were brought into the reality that is “the best first world country”. In all truth, I feel like race, culture, and profession play a big role when considering the magnitude of what could possibly be a desirable “American Dream”. If those factors don’t align in a tolerable shape or form, then, the idea of the American Dream is dead. Ultimately, one factor would affect the other collapsing the entire “pillar” of the “American Dream”. Above all, I don’t believe that it’s entirely possible for there to every be a classless society. Whether we want to admit it or not, there will always be a majority that want to quest for more power or superiority. Unless, we decide that everyone has everything exactly the same for some time there could be a classless society although a divergent would emerge for power sooner or later down the
