Evil in the Music Industry
One of the oldest dilemmas that has plagued the music industry are rumors that it is controlled by evil. When hearing this, many people write it off as another crazy conspiracy theory, but is it really? Well, come to think of it, music does make up a huge part of our lives. It’s played in the car, on TV shows, commercials, serves as a mood enhancer or depressor, even our favorite movies have some of the most known music themes to them. So then why wouldn’t the devil use music as a gateway into our minds by effecting us subconsciously using music as a tool to spread satanic messages? When looking closer, one will see that evil in the music industry …show more content…
According to Forbes 2013 list of 'Most Powerful Musicians', Lady Gaga topped the list at number 1, thus making her the perfect candidate to help spread evil messages through her music and videos. One of the most apparent is her popular song and hit single off her album is “Born This Way”. In the very first verse of the song, Lady Gaga says, “It doesn’t matter if you believe in Him or Capital HIM”. When Gaga says Him” she is referring to God as a pronoun. In the very first few seconds of the video there is already satanic symbolism being portrayed. Within the first 2 seconds of the video, a unicorn appears inside an upside down triangle. The triangle, also known as the Thaumaturgic triangle is a symbol that represents casting spells and the summoning of demons. This sign is usually found near ritual sites and satanic cult meetings to symbolize the door in which a demon will be called. The triangle pointing downward shape represents the goatee beard of the Baphomet - a universal symbol of Satanism that is made up of a goat head in a pentagram that can be found on the cover of The Satanic Bible. Symbolism for the Baphomet can again be seen about thirty seconds into Gaga’s music video when the stars in the sky align and form the shape of a goat head- an alternative symbol for the Baphomet. Now the unicorn within the triangle is a Christian symbolism. According to the Hebrew, the mentioning of Monoceros” or "one-horned mammals" is often associated with strength and purity. Now one may ask themselves if a unicorn is a symbol of purity and Christianity, then why is it evil when Gaga is using it. Keep in mind, it is not the symbol of the unicorn that is evil, but how the symbol is being used that turns it into evil symbology. It is positive cryptic symbolism that is being intertwined with negative symbolism in order to confuse the
