In “the orphan train” by kim hill a young boy faced an obstacle that many people feared. Lee was an orphan at eight years old.”Lee’s mother was dead, and his father was out of work”(6 hill). So the father was unable to care for his three kids and sent them to an orphanage. It was a horrible place and one of the kids stabbed him for a biscuit.
