Remember be true to yourself. But think about it, what is the very best thing you can say about yourself.
No one knows you like you know yourself. I remember when I was in high school, I was the quiet, shy teenager, which did not draw much attention.
When the yearbooks came out in senior year, I turned to the page and looked at the titles of future stars, most popular and most likely to succeed. I thought to myself only, the one most likely to succeed should have been me. But, no one thought that but me.
Now, when I ask why I was never even considered, it made sense. Who do you ask? Did you think this to yourself? I was invisible to others. They did not really know much about me. No one ever asked to see my grades, or what my plans were in life. So, what happened? I did not ring my own bell. Now, that does not mean that I have to be conceited.
