This program will employ both individual-level and environmental-level strategies aimed at shifting behavior by changing attitudes towards drinking and reducing the availably of alcohol to adults of all ages. area. A multitude of research indicates that alcohol users often have dangerous misconceptions about the serious health threats associated with excessive drinking. This is due to a number of reasons including alcohol beverage promotions that glamorize the positive effects of alcohol consumption and entertainment venues that promote alcohol as the norm for fun and engaging social interaction. This part of the campaign will be two tiered. The first tier will involve the use of social media websites like Facebook and Twitter to promote a positive culture of responsible drinking. Activities accessible to people of all ages that don’t involve alcohol consumption will be organized and promoted. Local businesses that are not affiliated with alcohol will be encouraged to promote on our social media sites in order to attract new customers. On the social media sites, the benefits of responsible drinking/abstinence will be discussed in a series of interesting and non-threating video series that will appeal to adults of all ages. The second tier will involve the use of RAAW advertisements placed in public places that could easily reach the drinking population. These places include: sporting venues, entertainment venues, restaurant/bar districts, and public transportation. These practices have shown
