The word secularism comes from the Latin word "saecularis" meaning worldly or earthly. The belief in Secularism is that most secularists have the view that the mind is more powerful than God. Since secularism is without God, it leaves man with no purpose of personal guilt before the existence of God. The only concern is man-made laws dealing with evil and selfishness of fallen human nature. Many Secularists believe that they don’t need God in their lives so they push him out and his existence.

The humans and laws determine moral code. Marxists explain that law and human rights came together from human beings with the social structures. These class divisions within their societies started to create conflict and much disorder. Therefore, laws came into existence to deal with theses conflicts. Many Marxists believe that since they have these class divisions there is no need for God.
