Some have gone ahead to pin it to the increase in social stressors such as the high levels of unemployment, educational background, and cultural aspects. Divorce rates have been rising in the last 20 years, and that is mostly prevalent among the youth as well as those getting into new marriages. The old folks do not seem to be affected much by the rise in the rates of divorces. The social problem of divorce is being tackled through the use of counseling. That is where those wishing to get into the unions are equipped for the journey ahead (Leon-Guerrero, 2015).
