This journal analysis is about my experience in field placement regarding the things I have learnt so far and how I have integrated some of the skill and knowledge from the course material . I also going to identify my future learning and professional goals.
The Y2P program is a great one and a wonderful opportunity for the students. As the case maybe I’m making use of what seem to be an idle situation to be a moment of learning both for myself and the student. Things were not structured at first, it was boring and tiring . The student were not co-operating, I felt so incompetent and discouraged.

I remember tutoring one of the student and he sharply or to say snapped at me that he did not understand me and does not need my help either. I am not sure if to call this a strength weakness, but I walked away. At another time I was tutoring , because I used a different method to solved the problem he was working on, he snapped again and call the instructor that I did not know what I was doing that the instructor or another mentor should help him. I told him it was okay as long as he was going to get help from one of the mentors, because its all about his learning not me. It was not pleasant but it challenged me to focus on the lesson learnt in class so that I can facilitate help among the student.
The placement ,nevertheless has been beneficial because I get to know the student better , interaction was greatly improved, though my patience and endurance was tested but through it all, I can not believe some of the students that discuss even personal issues with me with me , I learnt through the students too, that is how I got a lot of cues to also manage their situations that are
