It is only a defense of moral evil. The free will defense is created so that God is not responsible for moral evil. It was created so that God is not a part of moral evil. God created free beings so that is cannot be held accountable for them. The beings of God believe that the world is better because of the choices. Without the existence of free will there would be no genuineness of goodness is the world. Everyone would be robots. The humans that may cause evil would be those who commits crimes or those who are mentally ill, don’t have sense and just don’t know any better. It only applies to one way of evil which is moral evil and it is partially successful. The reason it is partially successful is because they have a choice to do good or bad. Humans understand right from wrong and many choose to do the wrong thing which then creates evil. Mackie objections were pretty good and made sense because humans really do have a choice between being good or bad. I do not undermine the free will defense because although there are many objections that come along with it, it is still a test of faith. The world is not only evil because humans make it evil. It is not God’s doing. I believe that the free will defense was created so that humans had an excuse to blame their failures on. I believe that the problem of evil is still remained unjustified because it will always lead back to God regardless of how the argument
