The debate about which of both sides is better is never ending. Throughout modern history, where many civil rights movements have come and went, people are still arguing the superiority of either sides. No, the debate has nothing to do with religion or justifying the legitimacy of slavery, but rather, the absurd debates are about the topic of men and women. Both genders do not understand each other due to lack of communication and it seems like there is a big wall that separates the two genders. We must understand that in many countries, both genders have equal protection under law, but there are still many differences between men and women, like intelligence/opinions, appearance/personalities, and parenting/responsibilities, just to name a few.

However, as the author of the website that listed the stereotypes, Jeff Cuckson, claimed, not all men and not all women are alike. We cannot simply apply each stereotype to every male and female. There are gays, lesbians, Tomboys, and other “genders” that may exist that I don’t even know existed. Various studies have claimed that structural differences of the brain contribute to the actions and nature between the two genders. The two genders may be physically different, but the differences may give both genders their unique advantages in completing certain tasks more effectively. Human characteristics are like computer manufacturer’s pre-installed bloatware and functions; males and females undertake different tasks. Comparing the two genders should not always lead to debates on which gender is “better”, but rather people of both genders understanding the advantages of each other is important to teamwork and helping each other
