People have so many different assumptions of what transgender is; however, many times those assumptions are wrong. Transgender people have been in society since the beginning, but have been manipulated into hiding who they really are due to society’s insensitivity, lack of knowledge, and ability to classify. In my opinion I believe that there are so many pressures to be a heterosexual male or female in today’s society. Being labeled as ‘different’ should not be something that society should be able to judge transgender people on. They are born this way, it is who they are; that is like saying why are you a ‘girl’ or a ‘boy’? It is just the way we are as individuals.
