Much of France’s population is concentrated in the north and southeast, in urbanized cities. The capital of France, Paris, located in northern central France, has the largest population, with the total of of 10.843 millions. The population in Paris, France in 2009, according to Bradshaw, was 10.5 million and projected to be 10.9 million in 2025.
