As the human knowledge about the significance of environmental dynamics is increasing there has been an increasing consensus that the main challenges of the modern era include protecting the human health and well-being, as well as conserving the environments and the natural resources we depend upon, increasing food security, improving transportation services, land use planning and development, and providing increased services to the citizens at their doorsteps requires effective decision making at appropriate levels after the respective areas of concern are identified.
