What about the shrinking of ice glaciers in the Arctic, is this something we should worry about? Most definitely! Hundreds of arctic natives will be left without a home, villages will be swamped if glacier melting continues; let alone, this can be the end of years and years of hunting as a means for survival. You may ask yourself, but why? Well as the sun emits its energy waves they are directly reflected onto the gleaming ice, which then reflects energy back into the atmosphere and lastly, leading to more melting glaciers. When this happens water and rocks begin to absorb a high substantial amount of energy, causing temperatures to get warmer and warmer, renerating the repetition of thus cycle at a greater speed. As ice glaciers continue to shrink animals such as wales, polar bares, walrus and seals begin to migrate, changing their eating habits and behaviors, leaving natives with little to nothing to hunt for. Not only is this affecting humanity, but wildlife animals as-well, would animals even have a normal ecosystem fifty years from today, but the most critical question is, what are we doing as members of our planet to help this life threatening dilemma? You must be asking yourself but what does this even mean? Well to start of this means that we as humans may not treat the global phenomenon of global warming as a serious matter simply because is a difficult subject to grasp and understand not only that but many believe that if it is happening… which it surly is, its because its bond to happen and we as a society van only do so much to stop it; that alone creates a sense of uncertainty and confusion leading many with little to nothing to care for.
