Americans make up four percent of the world 's population, we produce twenty-five percent of the carbon dioxide or CO2, pollution from fossil-fuel burning, which is by far the largest share of any country noted. Global warming is the average and rising of the earth 's temperature on the surface. Earth 's average temperature is increasing at a significantly higher rate and is proven to be because of human activities. Environmental factors such as melting ice sheets, temperature rise, ocean acidification and sea level rise have been proven to be caused by the global warming epidemic. El nino is an irregular occurring and complex climate change that happens often in the pacific region. Before global warming came about, El nino was controlling the entire climate. In the winter figures from Leroux’s Global Warming: Myth or Reality? provides photos taken from March 6th through the 11th of the year 2003 of an El Nino that originated in north-eastern siberia and migrated south eastward but suddenly disappeared. Winter time in siberia consists of powerful AA’s, anticyclonic agglutination, which causes a shift of the philippines closer south to indochina and indonesia. The El Nino effect is proof that humans are not the only contributors to the increase of earth 's warming. However, El Nino is a contributing factor because these events were thought to be the cause of global warming. Environmental factors can kill off animal species to near extinction and also cause health problems for humans. With the human activities that pollute our air more than any country ever recorded such as oil, technology, gas vehicles and utilities,this is why we are living in such a dangerous world. Most humas living in the world today do not even realize nor care that our planet is slowly shriveling away at our fingertips. If our world does not become more eco-friendly humans could possibly all die off due to the high levels of air pollution. It is up to us to make the world a better place to live on, after all, we are the ones who have been destroying all
