They stay down in deep cold waters close to the oceans floors. Due to the lack of sightings we can’t really estimate how many there are but when spotted a lot of people mistakenly report them as being disabled due to their unique shape. They’re known to grow around 15.2 ft around 460 lbs but it has been known that some have grown bigger. Other features of the Goblin shark would be their pale color but pinkish belly they have really transparent skin which allows you to see blood vessels inside. The Goblin Shark has a sword tip noise that gives itself protection from other prey around. When they feed they eat on organisms such as sting rays, crabs, squids and pretty much anything they find near the ocean floors. The Goblin shark senses help find its prey when they attack the jaw goes out similar to how humans stick out their tongue then with a sucking motion they draw their pray into their mouth then powerful teeth get ready to consume it. A rare thing about the goblin shark is that they have a very large liver which is found in sharks that don’t eat a lot.
