There are times when we dwell on our past trials and tribulations, when such occurs God wants us to move forward and focus on him.
I know we all can testify to some degree in our lives of the many trials we have all have come through in life. If had not been for the Lord who was on our side where would we be. It was God’s grace and his mercy that overshadowed our problems and his presence that guided us to our victories. We could not come this far without God’s grace.

God wants Israel to focus on him. To be focused is to be single minded unable to be distracted. In 1st Corinthians 11: 1-3; and Philippians 4:9 tells us that every effective leader should be a focus leader who is following Jesus Christ. It is important for us to stay focused on God so he can trust us, bless us, and use us to be a blessing to others. We cannot allow the distractions of things and people to keep our focus off of God. When we allowed things to distract us we become servants to them. Servant to things that keep us in debt, when we buy things because we are depressed. Servant to things when we allow them to determine our self-worth and spirituality, you know the fine cars and the big homes, the prestigious educational schools where we received our degrees. When we allow these things to define our spirituality in God, they will soon fade away or be given to someone else whether it be family, friend, or just a buyer looking to purchase what you no longer own. I rather have Jesus than silver and gold, fine houses and cars, because in Matthew 6:21 Jesus says: “For where your treasure (your things) there your heart will be also”. God should be your treasure. What we do for God will last forever and our focus should be on him. Use Shauna Borgata for example 2010, 2011, and 2012. God will make a way out of no way for he is the way maker. He will go before us and level the mountains, every crooked way will be made straight. He will break down the gates of bronze and cut through bars of Iron. (Isaiah 45:2). God will forgive Israel and he is going to break the cycle of sin and punishment (Isaiah 43:27) and pour out his spirit upon his people so they will delight to be called the lords people. (44:3-5). God wants to do a new thing in our lives. He wants to forgive us and restore us back to him to worship him. God is faithful and just and when we were unfaithful to him he was yet faithful to us. I heard a pastor say “It took God one day to get us out of Egypt, but it took forty years to get Egypt out of us”. We are no longer linked to our
