2. Ethnography Name; Puzzling

The puzzling presentation intrigued me because I completed a lot of puzzles over the 2017 Christmas break with me family. I didn’t realize that people were willing to buy completed puzzles online and at craft shows. It was mentioned during the presentation that customers were willing to pay up to fifty dollars for a framed puzzle. It seems easy enough to do on my own. However, I would be concerned about finishing puzzles that no one wanted to buy. I feel like the process of completing a puzzle, gluing it together, and framing it is very time consuming. However, I still want to try and sell a puzzle in the future.

The game has so many different aspects, I feel like it would take me months to figure it all out. I also do not fully understand the desire to build and sustain a fake empire in a fake universe. The game seems far too realistic. It reminded me of the stresses in real life. I want to play a game that helps me escape from the mundane aspects of adulthood. The only thing that seemed fun to me was the aspect of war. However, even war within the game seem very complicated and confusing. Perhaps I did not understand the presentation on Victoria because I do not play video games. Regardless, I don’t foresee myself becoming a Victoria gamer in the
