If we are to take a robust and thorough look at black men in our society we see that they are not self-made victims. In relationship to the movie “Goodbye Uncle Tom” of the inhumanity of what previous generations had to go through It showed how black people were being exploited, raped and killed for no reason other than being inferior. It exposes the facets of racism and capitalism. Which is quite intriguing thus to the fact that the U.S is built on capitalism. The trauma of this physical defacement verifies slight in comparison to the psychological anguish inflicted on black men. The powerless feeling of witnessing your family raped or beaten. Removing fathers; the authority figure to the white master shaped dejection and chaos within a black man’s life. This all sparked the violence we see today in the black communities.
