One of the strategies is using puffery advertising and it could be an effective and persuasive way to promote the product. Puffery may be claims as a false statement but they are not really lies because nobody can really disprove or prove them. Therefore, puffery is not illegal and is a common strategy used in advertising. Puffery is mere exaggeration and hyperbole to grab the attention from the audiences. Puffery advertising attracts people and makes people remember it. Puffery is also a subjective opinion due to the advertisers use superlatives to describe the product such as ‘the best’, ‘fastest’, ‘tastiest’ and others.
