Primarily, we must first look at the result of gun control from a few other countries including Great Britain, Ireland, and Jamaica. Statistics show that after these countries banned guns, their murder rates greatly increased. Crime didn’t even stay where it was before the ban. Instead, it got far worse. Criminals see the gun ban as an opportunity to commit crime and murder and get away with it. If a murderer is already going to break the law by committing murder, why should he obey the gun ban? After all, who’s going to stop him if nobody else has a gun? The United States needs to see these examples from other countries and realize that the blunder has already been made.
