Hamlet saw the appearance of a ghost with an abnormal atmosphere. And his friend is asking not to follow the ghost because it may hurt him. Hamlet wonders about the ghost so he persuades to know about it then explain to Horatio. This is the beginning of the book in order to lead the Hamlet to revenge.
It is metaphor that the cost of a pin is worth more than his life because the pin means an insignificant cost as pins are usually sold many at a time for one price.
Horatio said this to Hamlet when he thinks the ghost is potentially affecting Hamlet.

Hamlet is full of self-loathing and doubt. He knows that Claudius killed his father, but has not taken action to avenge him. He decides that the reason is that he is a coward. If there were people in the world that would goad him, attack him, call him names - well, he would just take it, and not fight back, because if he weren't a coward he would have fed Claudius's intestines to the vultures a long time ago.

Hamlet questions his servants those question they already know the answer so it is used rhetorical question. And when he is asking he tries used repetition to stronger test if his two friends are sent by Claudius to spy on him. Further on, It also can support his options that he wants to be the king. This can tell the reader Hamlet is being crazy so he lost himself on taking revenge and his ambition.
Hamlet said this to Ophelia because he thinks Polonius is listening to their conversation and wants to warn Polonius to stop spying.

“Let doors be shut upon him” is not only used metaphor that her father is going to be killed by his hand in the end of the book, it is also used foreshadowing that let readers know he will take the revenge successfully and he will lose his lover Ophelia because he treats her
