I slowly but surely, pulled the trigger. The last thing I heard was the bullet breaking the sound barrier, before I slipped, fell, and was rolling down the hill as if I was a coin. I felt my head ricochet something. Hard. And my eyes slowly closed, as if there were people pulling my eyelids down.…
On a sunny day in May, a couple of blocks south of Hard Rock Cafe in New York City a man named Tom Walker saw a dark, creepy, and mysterious alley, but he could not see the end of the alley. Tom thought to himself, “I wonder where the end of the alley is and where it might lead him?” Once he got home he told his wife about what he had seen, of course she did not believe him. The next day Tim went to the store and on his way back home he stopped and stared and the alley. After staring at the alley for a little while he decided he would go down it.…

It was a cool and clear night, the kind of night when vampires roamed and monsters stalked. It was a beautiful night where you would not wish to stay indoors, a fact that the figure wandering the lonely docks of Port Smith noted contentedly. The figure belonged to Johnny Nakamura. He was of Japanese and Chinese descent and had just turned nineteen.…
HLTH 113 – Patient Assessment Paper Instructions Last week I was walking towards the park minding on my own business while taking my usual walk. It was a beautiful day, the sun was warm and bright, at the distance birds were signing and dogs were barking; I had my earphones plugged in my ears and the Luke Bryan song “Do I” was playing. The fresh breeze were gently touching my skin and blowing death leaves away. At a few miles away I could see something laying on the floor, something like a person wearing a blue pants but I was not quick sure of what it could be, without any doubt in my mind, I kept walking towards my destination still listen to Luke Bryan Station on Pandora. Disbelieve and fear shook my mind as I lie on my back, sitting on top of concrete sandwiched in between the hot metal hood of a car, as the weight pressed down against me it didn’t hurt, my body was too numb to feel anything. All I could feel was a car pushing me further into the ground pushing my lungs down and shutting air out of it. It felt too surreal I kept blinking as if I thought I’d wake up from this mess. I could see sirens and people gathering around me watching in disbelieve, I kept fading in and out of conscience I felt like I was close to death.…
It's dark and cold tonight. All I can see is the full moon softly glowing above me and the silhouettes of the trees I run past. The cold wind whips my long, golden brown hair against my face. As I keep running I suddenly feel the earth turn to hard pavement under my feet. I come to an abrupt stop in the middle of the road.…
I suppose everybody makes a foolish mistake at some point in their life. For me it was playing a stupid game called “Hostage”. In this game a group of people split into two teams and then two people, “The Hostages”, from each group are blindfolded and dropped off by the opposite team, somewhere outside of town. The objective is for the hostages to figure out where they are and call their teammates to come pick them up. First team back to the chosen base wins.…

As my grandfather put the car into reverse, I felt myself getting farther away from my mother. My eyes began to puffen and produce tears, and my lower lip began to quiver.…
