The government has the obligation to make everyone in peace, to avoid the conflict like terrorist, corruption or war. And second, the government attempt laws that purpose is to restrain the human mind. In the story, the laws were human must wear handicap, ugly mask so everyone doesn’t have to know who is the ugly duckling, weight on the body so everyone must always feel weak, came to the loss of motivation to revolt and last, the painful siren handicap so everyone could think less. This government regulation is the context that creates the affection of ability to act.
The story showed that the action can be affected by the context of the story, especially the insanity or the madness. The Bergeron carries the trait of insanity. Under the strict law, they could not think clearly, Hazel couldn’t remember after her son getting shot on the television or George short reaction after seen his son on the news and immediately restrict by the handicap wearing and ultimately cause the pain -”The realization was blasted from his mind instantly by the sound of an automobile collision in his head”, as the handicap suppress others
