Firstly, Harry Potter is a book series that makes you think more from imagining how they perform their spells to even how an action happened. Harry Potter is full of adventures, mysteries, action, and other genres that'll satisfy people's likes and grab their attention! Attracting them to a book that has everything they need to keep them occupied for days! If a reader likes the book then maybe they'll start buying or borrowing the other books from libraries or relatives. Maybe if they're that interested in the book, they'll start to go to book clubs or even make their own(because the book clubs may not exist anymore). It depends on the reader's preferences, if they like the action and mystery parts then they'll search up which books have more action than others, or if another reader likes more of the fantasy and adventure parts they'll search up which books have the more of those specific genres. It's a win-win situation!
Last but not least, the connection. Some many people can connect to the books in the series; Harry Potter eating breakfast with the Dursleys, while Uncle Veron is blabbering about how the news is being dumb or ridiculous; Harry is doing homework till 1 in the morning.
