Hitler’s Rise to Power Before Hitler’s rise to power Germany was in a lot of hurt from World War I. Everybody wanted change and a new beginning. When the people heard about Hitler they were overly excited and wanted him to be in power oh so bad. When Hindenberg resigned and Hitler came to power, Germany was ready to start from scratch. Hitler proclaimed the new Germany and ultimately ran off the enemies. Prior to Hitler coming to power Germany was in a world of hurt. Their economy was crumbling and many were stuck without jobs. For instance Hitler knew that if he arrived late to a speech it would stir up the tension and the people would be ever more excited to see him when he did arrive. He knew that the people loved when he would interact with them so he would do that. He would talk with mighty passion. There would be crowds of over 1 million people at these speeches all cheering for Hitler at everything he had to say. One of the speakers in “A new Germany” film we watched stated “HItler in the first ten minutes was a terrible speaker but then he turned into a terribly good speaker.” When Hitler was in the presence of these people they would go completely silent. Another one of the commentaries said that “Hitler was like superman--a second God.” Hitler was also the first politician to take air. Being able to fly made him be able to give more speeches in one day, rather than just one. This ultimately put him ahead. I think one thing that made Hitler rise to power was his ego. The people saw him as life changing and they claimed him as their savior. He knew what he was doing was impacting them and he had all of their utmost respect and attention. What the people didn’t understand was that Hitler was just a normal person like all of us. He absolutely loved children and would often times have to stop whatever he was doing to interact with them. With his ego however, he turned into the man he
