The type of research method I demonstrated was practical research and this is a study involves a form of questionnaires, interviews and surveys. For my experiment, I decided to do survey and interviews because it’s an easy method to capture information that will deeply develop a context that will imply more about your topic. I brainstormed ten virtuous interview questions to ask the SERT teacher and it all was related to my hypothesis. My interview questions were concise and straight-forward because it was something where teachers can reflect own thoughts. The questions were so complicated so I had to rephrase it in a way Mr. Seretis can understand it. The data I collected from my interview is how students benefit from their IEP and how their teachers accommodate according to their needs in order to help them become successful.
