They often are on some social media site or application on their phone, instead of communicating and building relationships with the ones that surround them. Technology in the form of cell phones has become a fundamental part of our everyday lives; nonetheless, this has jeopardized many basic liberties, such as privacy. Furthermore, this has declined our ability to correspond or to stay on task, and this is for two main reason. One, most social media sites restrict the amount of characters that you are allowed to use when posting on their application. The restricted characters has severely degraded most people's ability to communicate efficiently and has degraded their writing skills.
