Jessica reported that her mother takes her to school and pick her up. She indicated that her mother helps her with her homework.
The child indicated that she sees her father on the weekends. She reported that they often stay at her paternal grandparent’s home. She indicated that they are nice to her and do speak negatively about her mother.
A mental status exam was conducted on the child. She reported that she has no trouble falling asleep at night. The children indicated that she is sad about her mom and dad not living together. However, the child indicated that she does not believe her parents like each other and it is uncomfortable for her. She stated that she does not “know what to do”.
She stated that she feels that she is a funny and happy person, who likes spending time with her friends. The child indicated that she likes gymnastics, she stated that her mother takes the classes. She indicated that she played soccer last year, her father took her to her games.
The child reported that she does not remember her parents living together. She stated that she loves both of her parents and wants to spend time with both parents. The child reported that she feels that she does not want to live with her father. She wants to keep the living arrangements the way that they are. Jessica reported that she can speak to her mother when something is bothering her, she stated that it is easier.
Jessica reported that she would like the transfer to be changed from the police
