As the Property Custodian for the New Orleans Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) Enforcement Removal Operations (ERO), my area of responsibility consists of 23 offices across five states; providing oversight of 5 local property custodians. Locally I manage property for seven offices and over all am responsible for the management of 1,985 assets worth more than $10 million dollars. Working as a team, we manage, inventory, and dispose all assets. I manage and coordinate the yearly inventory campaign for the Field Office. I have implemented many changes to the inventory program which caused the completion of the inventory ahead of schedule and with less difficulty than previously experienced. I oversee the execution of the contracts and verify that work is accomplished in an acceptable and timely manner. I have written statements of work for purchases over the micro-purchase and am listed as the Assistant COR on detention contracts. Using Webview, I review and approve invoices for payment. Using the Federal Financial Management System I receive goods and services and ensure funds availability.
