Sir, I’ve been noticing my wife, Lori, has been coming more anxious day by day since our family has decided to move to Colorado. Last night she didn’t come to bed until 1am (please understand this is a woman who religiously gets her 8 hours). She then woke up with me before 6. I finally had to ask what was on her mind.
All her stresses and anxiety stem from not having enough information to tell her boss that we are planning on moving. So, I asked what information does she need to tell him with confidence that we are going. Mind you I told her about me departing on the 16th of January. The 2 weeks there, 2 weeks here. The scope of the job and how long it will take to complete.
Her response was simple. She needs confirmation that I will be made an full-time EN employee. That I will not be sent to …show more content…
Thus guaranteeing our family a secure income for 2017.
• Lastly, she needs to keep the owner of the shop from firing anyone currently employed there. He is a man of brash decisions and has currently told her in confidence of his desire to fire one of the other employees due to their work ethic. (Lori is the main source of the shops current earnings. It takes 3 out of the other 4 employees to match her yearly earnings).
All the other details of my family’s relocation can come later. I assure you that we are going to move there. We have, in fact, already packed our first set of boxes. So please, anything you can offer in a way of confirmation to her and I of this process to make me a full-time employee in the company would be greatly appreciated. Even if this transition to full-time takes place after the first of the new year, we’d appreciate any information you can give us, so we can tell her boss next week the truth.
Thank you for your time. Please contact me with any questions or information you may
