Susan drove for a total of five hours and ended up in the hospital. Caspar was taken in and treated, and was told that he had to stay in the hospital to prevent the infection from getting worse and spreading throughout. Susan left the hospital, leaving Caspar there. After several days, Susan has still not came back or called her husband which was the other owner of the house. Ruby was also expecting Susan’s call to inform her that both Caspar and Susan were both alright. Since there was no news from the both of them, Ruby got worried. Susan’s husband was also really worried and had regret letting Susan take Caspar to the hospital. Ruby wanted to go back to the house of the party to check if Susan or Caspar were there, but couldn’t because it was still raining. All she could do was stay in her house. Her stepfather locked up Ruby in a closet to make sure she doesn’t infect her baby brother, mother, and her stepfather since Ruby could have possibly been out in the rain.
Opinion of the book so far: Now that it has reached one of the big conflicts of the book, this book gets even more interesting than ever. It makes me even more curious to read what happens next and makes me want to read even more. I hope the author, Virginia Bergin, creates a sequel for this books. If there is a sequel, I would read it for
