People depend on close connections between other people for emotional and psychological support. Throughout my life, I have developed many relationships; some which occurred spontaneously while other are established through constant efforts. As early as birth, humans instantly have an intimate relationship with their mother. Through constant interactions with other people, the baby learns to love and depend on this person for psychological support. As the child gets older, he or she forms more relationships in their school and their community. These relationships become part of the person’s identity and influences who they become. In my life, I value every relationship I have. If it were not for people like my mother, sister, father and friends I would not be the person I am today. My mother is a very caring and selfless person. As my sisters and I grew up, she constantly reminded us to put others before our self, just like our heavenly Father did for us. My mother entrenched valuable morals that I strive to continue to display to this day. Through these relationships, I learn how to love, respect and care for the other. In my opinion, the most important feature of a relationship is honesty. Without honesty, a relationship will fail. One will not depend on the other for guidance and support. If one person cannot trust the other, the relationship falls apart: the sense of security and reliability diminishes. While every relationship has its flaws, it is ultimately the characteristics that one values the most that strengthens the relationship between two
