The first important law is freedom of religion. Freedom of religion is saying that we can practice whatever religion we chooses. The right to assemble is when people come together and collectively express, promote, and defend their ideas. “Or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.” What this mean is that the government can't stop you from protesting in something you believe should be happening. For example black lives matter. This right really gives you freedom that you never would think about. Freedom to assemble applies to all groups, even if people don't like those groups. Citizens also have the right to complain to the government about things that they don't like. These petitions are used to place initiatives on a ballot and the people can vote about whether to change the law.
In conclusion the first amendment is very important. What would the United States be like if we did not have the first amendment how would live if we didn't have the freedom of speech it would be chaos because we would not be able to speak our mind and we wouldn't be able to defend anything that we think is right. So Imagine if we didn't have the two other rights how would we live it would be madness. That is why the first amendment is so important because it's give us our three basic rights and how they apply to
