1) Q: In his essay he said that his parents are originally from Palestine but lived most of his life in America. Where the uprisings and the occupation of Israel the reason his parents came to live here in America? How did that affect him growing up? Does he like it better there or America better?
A: The conflict over there was the reason that his parents left Palestine. His parents came to Palestine for a fresh start because they thought the stressed environment over there was not stable enough to raise a family. Majed hasn’t been to Palestine for 10 years; the unstable environment caused his family to not be able to go back to their home country. If he had to choose, he would choose to live in Palestine over living in America since all of his family is over there and he enjoys the environment over there better than America.

Did he have any influences a child that induced him to choose this major? Did he love to visit the dentist as a kid?
A: As a kid, Majed, unlike his siblings, always looked forward to going to the dentist for his monthly check up. When he was in high school, his favorite subject was biology; this influenced his decision of choosing his major.
3) Q: Majed does not have any clubs or activities on campus to be involved in. If he could or had the time to, would he join. If yes, what type and why?
A: If he would join an activity, he would join the UNO soccer team, if they had one, because it is his favorite sport.
4) Q: One of the special hobbies of Majed was soccer. If he would or had the opportunity to, would he take his love for soccer and try to become professional at it? Did he join any teams in his school or in any local parks?
A: His old school didn’t have any sports to join but that didn’t stop him from joining the local parks team. His love for soccer is not that extreme for him to go professional; he loves the sport but no that
