My leadership philosophy stem from combination of personal values and beliefs, life experience, and military encounters. I believe every serving member in the military brings in a unique prospective and a unique talent that makes our military the best in the world, and in order to manage and lead that talent you ought a have an open minded leader that can listen to others and takes all opinions in considerations. This point lead me to mention that in order to lead soldier and make sure they are doing the right thing every day, we have to check ourselves as leaders and see if we are holding ourselves to the same standards that we are holding our soldiers too, if the answer yes I believe that means we are doing the right thing and we are leading in way that defines the army values and living by it.
Sharing previous experiences with soldiers it has a very strong message that resonate with soldiers especially when they encounter a similar experience and they start to remember what I shared with them. Creating an open communications environment between a leader and subordinate makes a huge different in accomplishing the mission. Open communications, and showing soldiers how to do the right thing, makes it easier to build trust which leads to a trusting environment that encouraging soldiers to talk to their leaders even if they done something they were not supposed to do, which it helps in
