Research interviews take place when there are two or more people. These people have a conversation and the conversation has a purpose. The purpose is based on the topic that the interviewer wants to discuss which is based on the purpose or the topic of the research. The interviewer has to establish trust with the respondent. The respondent has to agree to answer the questions and listen to what the interviewer is asking. Interviews are separated by types which include structured, semi-structured and unstructured.
