The first reason why Tybalt killed them is because of his family pride Tybalt is a man full of pride so when he saw Romeo at the Capulet party it infuriated him. Tybalt even said in the play “Boy, this shall not excuse the injuries That thou hast done me; therefore turn and draw” (III: i : 62-63). It pained Tybalt so much that a Montague was in his family’s party he wanted to kill Romeo this challenge to Romeo is what eventually cause Romeo’s death in the end of the play the reason for this is since Romeo refused Mercutio had to step in and fight Tybalt himself. Tybalt’s skill as a fighter is a great caus for romeo and Juliets death if he never had that skill and he never killed Mercutio with it Romeo and Juliet would never had
