The legalization battle for marijuana has become highly diverse; people of all classes are stepping up to join together and rally social awareness. Millionaires like, John Morgan of Morgan and Morgan law firm have joined the fight to legalize and lobby pro marijuana campaigns, that in its self a sign of the times because traditionally lobbyists remain anonymous in controversial affairs. The main reason that there are so many marijuana bills under review and scrutiny is because, The Republican Party members want things to stay the same or become stricter while the democrats agree with legalization for medical use. Here in Florida many believe that legalization is going to happen sooner than later because of a poll taken of Floridians by Quinnipiac University shows that 51% of Floridians agree with legalization and 45% against. (International Business times) Society as a whole wants a cure for cancer, wants to see babies cured of epilepsy and want to believe in the positive effects of marijuana, but apparently not enough to get the voters to polls at election time. The public records of Colorado reported 63 million dollars in revenue with a significant decrease in crime in the first year. Oregon racked in $11 million dollars in its first week, now the question that is next. Public opinion has shifted making states question if marijuana can solve its financial problems. Looking at the statistics we are all begging the question. Every day new citizens are looking to cash in as well knowing that legalization means open to cultivation with high regulation but budding profits no pun intended. Legal organizations like Greenzip.com are coming out of the wood work to help you get started as a grower and distributer, basically grooming you to grow for the government. Having interviewed my friend Pat Weston, whom quit her job as a teacher and became professional cultivator for the US government, I learned about the interworking and high regulations involved with becoming a grower. In my interview with Pat, she stated that the process was easier than it seemed and turned out to be all about the money. Pat assumed that payment covered everything, however by the time she got to the government office new fees were implemented, that her liaison from Green Zip did not know about. More fees were implemented to pick up and transport her crop and also government supervision
