According to historians, Allies economies rose steadily while that of Axis powers collapsed thus the act proved to be an effective tool of mobilization. In a reverse Lend-Lease, United States did not only donate but also received foreign aid. In reciprocating, the Allies had to provide services for the U.S extensive army bases stationed throughout the world as well as repairing their equipment. In the Commonwealth boundaries, United States was offered services equivalent to $ 5.6 as a mode of reciprocating the terms of Lend-Lease act. The reciprocal was all cashless, though, since in Soviet Union there were no American Soldiers Stationed there, so little repayment was made.
