The most interesting thing I learned about the plant I chose is that it is one flower made up of many flowers and that each petal is one flower. I found this very interesting because I never knew that one flower could be made of thousands of little ones. The most important adaptation the Sunflower had that helped it become the flower it is known is its ability to rotate according to the location of the sun before they reach maturity. This is an important adaptation because they capture more sunlight which benefits photosynthesis and the amount of energy that is being produced. Some positive interferences humans have with the ecosystem is helping the Sunflowers have better conditions in which to grow. For example, humans plant crops of Sunflowers to use their oils and seeds and in order to have better results they water the fields with enough water, they clean out weeds so the Sunflower doesn't have to compete for the nutrients and water. Humans also plant each flower with enough space for the roots of the plant. Some negative interferences humans have with the ecosystem is the increase of carbon dioxide due to factories, cars, and materials in the soil that harm the plants like fertilizer and trash. The increase of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is causing the earth to become warmer temperatures are rising and more wildfires as occurring. In a wildfire all the trees that burn release all the carbon they had stored only adding more carbon than what humans are putting into the air we breathe. Cutting down or burning trees also takes away one of the plants that give us oxygen in exchange for Carbon dioxide. Fertilizers and thresh are also contaminating our soils and harming plants. Some ways humans can overcome the negative impact they have in the environment is by being more careful when they use fire out in the wild, using cars the least possible and pick up after
