There are many different CBRN agents and weapons. One of the most dangerous categories of CBRN are biological weapons. Biological weapons are multi-faceted and can cause various levels of damage. After he got out of the service he obtained a job at Ft Detrick in Frederick, MD. His job description was he was a lab tech working with the biological weapons that are contained at the military facility. The year’s progress and John works the same shift at the same place. As the war progresses in the Middle East John becomes more and more disgruntled with direction the country has been going with the handling of the war on terror. He then devises a plan to get revenge on the country. Since he is guarding the biological weapons such as anthrax and smallpox he did not want to do an attack that kills Americans. The fact that it is overlooked is what makes it so possible for someone to achieve a successful bio attack. In the scenario with John, the former army soldier gone lone wolf it showed how easy it was to get away with conducting an attack that not only damaged the country in such a significant way. John had PTSD but was not receiving any help or treatment for the disease. He was placed in a position where he was working with hazardous bacteria’s and chemicals. When he got upset because things were not going the way he wanted them to he conducted his attack and successfully got away with it. The rapid spread of the disease made it almost impossible to track where he infection first started. This all could have been prevented by having better security on the farms so John would not have been successful in infecting all the cattle so effortlessly the way that he did. By having security, they could have caught John in the act and properly quarantine the infected animals. The United States is however taking actions to help prevent an agroterrorism attack. In the state of Kansas there is a facility being built to specifically help combat agroterrorism (Hirsch, 2016). This kind of prevention method will help protect the nation from an agroterrorism attack and help protect the American people and
