As a nurse, one of the most important jobs we have is making sure that our patients are well taken care of. A few of the basic jobs a nurse is trained to do is recording the patients’ medical history and symptoms and administering the patients’ medicines and treatments. It is important that all the patients have a record with accurate information. If a record gets misplaced or something is inaccurate, there could be serious medical consequences. Along with keeping track of their information, we should keep track of them as well. It is our job to get someone an ice water if they need it, help them find their way to the radiology unit, x-ray lab or any unit in the hospital. Several of the young nurses told me that going through the LMC nursing program is a great idea; depending on where you work will require different schooling. Some
