It was a stunning morning, the sun gleaming through the trees, no clouds to block out the sun, the dew slowly dripping of the leaves of the oaks, falling to the grass. Drip, drop, falling on krouses head, sliding down krouses forehead, and eventually to the grass. Then the cycle restarts from the beginning, over and over. Lying in the meadow of of his own imagination, it's only too bad that only woke up when he knew that he was dreaming.

He had dream, an amazing dream so profound, and great that he almost thought it shouldn't have been his, like he didn't deserve this.
But what krouse did to get to America, and to get to his dream, beyond what anyone should do, for anything. This is the story of krouse, his sisters, and his dream. Krouse believed that this is where he belonged, on a farm in the meadow, where he, and his family worked in a vineyard in the hills. Where he sometimes sat under the vines in the shade, and read, and took naps. Today was krouses tenth birthday, and he was peacefully resting under the oak tree, enjoying the sunrise. "Well that doesn't mean that I shouldn't worry mother, I don't understand what's going on". "We have to leave krouse,!" She stammered, "but why mother?"
He pleaded. "Two German officers came two our doorstep today." Then krouse realized what his mother meant. Krouse heard of the the Germans, forcing Jews out of there jobs, and other social duties. Krouse new all too well, because of his religion, krouse and his family were Jews.
"There taking away our vineyard!", she sobbed, Knause put his head between his arms, and put them on the table. He could feel the tears, his eyes were swelling, it was unbearable at this point, he couldn't control the sadness. He sobbed there in the kitchen for a while, he and his mother.
But when it finally stopped his mother looked up from the table, and looked at her son. In those moments Miss Knause knew that max would become something great, something she would be proud of of. She also knew that if she didn't do something before the Germans came to take away there vineyard, he and his sister would be taken away.
