MSG Agenbroad served as the Logistics Operations SGT in the 72nd Field Artillery Brigade. As the Battalion S4 NCOIC he was responsible for tracking the transfer of FOB equipment and facilities worth $17 million back to Iraqi control. MSG Agenbroad was selected over his peers to become the 1 CAB Brigade S4 NCOIC. As the Brigade S4 NCOIC his focus was the management and approval of the Class IX Aviation budget worth $79 million.
MSG Agenbroad was assigned to HHT 1-6 CAV, 1 CAB and deployed from August 2007 to December 2008 as part of the "surge". He corrected the squadron property book after reset of 30 aircraft, five of which deployed without being added to the property book. During this period he completed over 20 delinquent FLIPLs that were initiated prior to his assignment. He served as the 1SG from January to November 2009 where he conducted a unit move of 88 personnel from Ft Carson, Colorado to Ft Riley, Kansas.
